As a modern medium-sized company, JASTA is continuing to grow. Our employees produce reliable solutions at our plant in Essen. As an innovative company, we are constantly expanding our product portfolio and evolving in a future-oriented way.

1959 Foundation Heinrich Janssen founds JASTA-Armaturen in a wooden hall adjacent to his parents’ house in Essen. 1967 New site in Levinstrasse On the site of the former Levin colliery in Essen-Dellwig, Heinrich Janssen rents the 315 m² hall used by the company’s mechanical maintenance department. 1968 Purchase of the Levinstrasse site Purchase of the hall and the 2500 m² site in the Levinstrasse. 1970 Construction of a residential building with an office Heinrich Janssen builds his new home with an office and a 700 m² hall on the Levinstrasse site. 1985 Purchase of the neighbouring property JASTA buys an adjacent 2500 m² site. 1986 Building of an additional hall A 300 m² hall is built on the new site. 2006 Further expansion of capacity A hall with an area of 560 m² is built. 2012 New administration building A new administrative wing with over 300 m² of floor space is built in the Levinstrasse. 2014
 Purchase of the site in Haus-Horl-Strasse JASTA purchases a plot of land within walking distance of the Levinstrasse with an area of 9300 m² 2016 Additional hall and an administration building Construction of a 1500 m² hall and a 300 m² office building begins in the Haus-Horl-Strasse. 2018 Launch of the new facility Production begins in the new hall in the Haus-Horl-Strasse. 2020 A new generation in management Long-time managing director Jürgen Hengst hands over to Muhammed Karamahmut.
